Wood floors are very rare for me basically only if i m playing as tribals don t have stonecutting yet and don t have enough scavenged blocks.
Better off using your marble making sculptures and walls.

You can limit what you can choose if you are adventurous or remove the limit to try that starting squad you.
Just lay concrete over the floors to eliminate speed penalty.
